This year, 2023, the MOTHER EARTH FESTIVAL returns to its physical form! This time the festival will be held at the ABURI BOTANICAL GARDENS on the 22nd and 23rd of April 2023. Our eco-friendly festival raises awareness on environmental issues in a beautiful, natural, and musically inspired atmosphere.

Inside the Aburi Botanical Gardens – our venue for the Mother Earth Festival.

SATURDAY 22ND APRIL, AND SUNDAY 23RD APRIL

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE:

SATURDAY, 22ND APRIL.

10AM – 5PM – GREEN BUTTERFLY MARKET ON LAWN 2

Buy from local community businesses selling sustainable products. Shop from an array of beautiful Art, crafts, clothing, jewelry, foods, beverages and more.

9AM TO 4PM: BLOOD DRIVE GHANA will be on location to receive blood donations.

11AM – HOLISTIC CLINIC OPENS (near the juice bar on lawn 2)

Engage with healers and holistic practitioners including psychotherapists, physical therapists, Herbalists, Massage therapists, Crystal healers, Ayurvedic practitioners etc. Tap into a wealth of knowledge and ancient wisdom all brought to you in one beautiful location.

11AM ONWARDS – SIGN UP WITH ANA FOR OUR PLANT-BASED COOKOUT

Bring your own plant-based ingredients to contribute to our gigantic plant-based cookout during the Mother Earth Festival! Locate the Plant-based cookout team at the concrete platform next to the Holistic clinic. on lawn 2 LANDMARK: :AFRICAN ALMOND TREE AKA “BLOFO NKATIE” TREE. Ana will be there to receive your items, to sign you up for the cookout later in the day. Get free consultations and ideas for delicious healthy meals, and share your ideas as well. Not sure what to bring? Shop right there on location with THE GREEN GENIE – Greenhouse veggies, and SOWGREEN FARMS vending organic, freshly picked herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

2:30PM: PLANT-BASED PREP:

Meal prep towards the cookout scheduled to start at 4pm. :This is the stage where recipes are finalized, groups are organized, and ideas are all firmed up. Ingredients will be washed and prepped for cooking.

4PM – 6PM – PLANT – BASED COOKOUT AND DINNER.
